Complaints

The Centre has a written policy and procedures for receiving complaints. This procedure is clearly spelt out in Sydney Women’s Counselling Centre
Information booklet and the Rights & Responsibilities Agreement. It is also displayed in the waiting area.

All staff at the Centre abide by the SWCC Code of Conduct and Professional ethical standards issued by CAPA and other recognized professional
organizations and all existing legislation regarding complaints.

Sydney Women’s Counselling Centre ensures that complaints are fully investigated and that staff are prohibited from disregarding or intimidating a person who makes a complaint or gives evidence on behalf of a complainant.
