CEO
Margherita Basile
Margherita has been at the Centre for over 20 years. She has a business management background and is a qualified counsellor. She is also the chairperson of Women's Health NSW, which is the peak body for 21 women's health centers across the state. Margherita is a strong advocate of the Social Determinants of Health and Trauma Informed Care. She is an active participant in sector wide consultations around policy and practice guidelines around gender-based violence, mental health and drug and alcohol issues. Both her clinical practice and leadership of the team reflect strong social justice values

Erin Noordeloos (FGIA)
Erin is a leader in strategic communications, risk and crisis management, with her international experience spanning organizations including News Corp Australia, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, NBC Universal and Redr UK. Her most recent work has been an emphasis on psychosocial risk and developing trauma -informed practices. She recently became a Fellow of the Governance Insitute of Australia
Treasurer
Anna Chung
Anna has just joined us recently as a Board Member. However, she was the Financial Administrator for Sydney Women's Counselling Centre for 20 years. When she decided to retire, the Board offered her the position of Treasurer of the Board of SWCC. Anna decided to accept the position. Afterall, who better to do the job than
someone who has been with the Centre for such a long period and knows the finances of the centre inside out. Anna was a member of Institute of Accountants, The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and BAS Agent. Since completing an Advanced Diploma of Accounting at TAFE, Anna has worked mainly for the Non Profit Sector, specifically NGOs,
but has also worked in Chartered Accountant's Firms and in the private sectors.
Vice Chair
Bec O'Brien
Bec is a senior regulatory officer for the Australian Space Agency. She is a graduate of the University of Sydney and the ANU law school.
Bec hold extensive experience in governance, compliance and policy management. She is passionate about advocating and promoting women's safety and access to all forms of healthcare. Bec believes strongly in a social model of healthcare that approaches women's health in a holistic manner, recognizing the intersection of access to services, law, public policy and gender equality
Secretary
Cassie Monaghan
Cassie is a HR and logistics professional in the Australian Army, with more than 10 years of leadership and management experience. Cassie 's range of domestic and international experience s include logistics planning for the 20219/20 Black Summer bushfires, deploying to the Middle east region in 2015 as a Platoon Commander, leading female focused recruitment activities and leading a multidisciplinary training team in Vanuatu.

Julie Lam
Julie is a fundraising and communications professional with over 12 years’ experience starting on the frontlines, steadily progressing and learning from the best in the field of fundraising. Julie has a proven track record in Individual Giving and Community Fundraising, creating and establishing Regular Giving products, Signature Challenge events and with a comprehensive view of the stewardship piece, manages the end-to-end execution of supporter journeys.

Kynwynne Gore
Partnership, trusts, foundations and business development professional with a proven track record in new partnership acquisition and activation along with partnerships and staff management, business development, sponsorship, fundraising, event management, PR, media and marketing. Skilled strategic thinker with a passion for corporate responsibility with a background in business, both for profit and not for profit.

Pauline McCarthy
Pauline is the grants manager at Open Support, the Community Outreach Service of St Vincent's Clinic Darlinghurst which provides support services to vulnerable women and children escaping violence, people experiencing social isolation and rural patients seeking better access to healthcare. She has successfully increased grant revenue from a wide range of new doners to support these programs

Ella Hoppe-Smith
Ella is a lawyer with considerable experience in representative proceedings and a developed knowledge of litigation practice and procedure in various superior court jurisdictions. Ella is currently employed as the case management lawyer for the Major Torts and Group Proceedings lists within the Supreme Court of Victoria. Ella has a particular interest in public interest litigation and the use of group proceedings to improve access to justice.
